Rounds on Saturday welcomed daughter Dakota.
“we r thrilled to announce the
arrival of r daughter Dakota - #withloveandthanks – AMEN,” the
couple messaged on Twitter along with a photo of the proud new moms
with their little bundle of joy.
A representative for O'Donnell told
People.com that Dakota weighs in at 5 pounds, 5 ounces, and that she
was adopted.
Rounds, 41, and O'Donnell, 50, married
in New York in June. Before they got hitched, O'Donnell revealed
that Rounds was attempting to get pregnant.
Rounds and O'Donnell suffered other
setbacks in 2012, including a diagnosis of desmoids tumors for
Rounds. In August, O'Donnell suffered a heart attack.
O'Donnell has 4 children from previous
relationships: Parker, 17; Chelsea, 15; Blake, 13; and Vivienne, 10.
This is Rounds' first child.
