British singer-songwriter Paloma Faith says she prefers the weddings of gay couples to those of heterosexuals.

The 27-year-old Faith's 2009 debut album Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful? spawned five singles: Stone Cold Sober, New York, Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful?, Upside Down and Smoke & Mirrors.

Her second album, Fall to Grace, was released in May.

Speaking with UK's GaydarRadio, Faith endorsed Britain's plan to legalize marriage equality and discussed her love for gay bears.

“It's just like ridiculous that people can't make their own decisions for their own lives just full stop,” she told host Phil Marriott. “Regardless of anything else, I just think we're all entitled, as long as it's two consenting adults, to do what we want.”

“I mean, as a heterosexual female I hate the idea of getting married. But I've been to a few gay weddings and I think they're much more exciting than heterosexual ones. So bring it on.”

She added that she loves large, hairy men.

“I love bears,” she said. (The video is embedded on his page. Visit our video library for more videos.)
