Actor Eddie Cibrian has posed for the NOH8 Campaign, which raises awareness and funds for gay rights causes, including ending California's 2008 voter-approved gay marriage ban, Proposition 8.

The campaign's Adam Bouska and his partner Jeff Parshley photograph celebrities, politicians, professional athletes and everyday folks with their mouths duct taped and the campaign's familiar “NOH8” slogan often written on one cheek.

In his photograph, Cibrian is wearing a white t-shirt and attempting to peel back the duct tape from his mouth.

The 39-year-old Cibrian is best known for playing Cole Deschanel on the NBC soap opera Sunset Beach, which aired in the late 90s. More recently, he's appeared on CSI: Miami and Third Watch.

Celebrities who have recently joined the NOH8 Campaign include actress Lana Parrilla, actor LeVar Burton, Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe, singer LeAnn Rimes, actor Taye Diggs, actor James Van Der Beek, actress Aisha Tyler, Glee's Nene Leakes, singer Miley Cyrus, Hot in Cleveland's Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick and Jane Leeves, singer Courtney Love and Meghan and Cindy McCain.
