Lena Dunham stars in a suggestive
“first time” ad for President Barack Obama.
The 26-year-old Dunham is the creator
and star of the HBO series Girls.
“Your first time shouldn't be with
just anybody,” Dunham says in the 60-second ad released Thursday by
the Obama campaign. “You want to do it with a great guy.”
“You don't want a guy who says 'Oh
hey, I'm at the library studying' when really he's out not signing
the Lilly Ledbetter Act. Or thinks that gay people should never have
beautiful complicated weddings of the kind we see on Bravo or TLC all
the time.”
“My first time voting was amazing,”
Dunham says. “It was this line in the sand: before I was a girl,
now I was a woman. I went to the polling station, pulled back the
curtain; I voted for Barack Obama.” (The video is embedded on this

Conservatives pounced on the ad.
“1 of the many sick things about this
degrading Lena Dunham 'lose your virginity to Barack' ad? The Left
thinks it's 'empowering' to women,” tweeted Washington Times
correspondent Monica Crowley.
