Hudson Taylor is featured in a new
video for The Four 2012 in which he says everyone deserves the right
to marry.
Taylor is the openly straight Columbia
University assistant wrestling coaching who started Athlete
Ally to fight homophobic speech in sports.
He recorded the 45-second video clip
for The Four 2012, the nascent group working on marriage equality
issues in the four states where it will be on the ballot this year –
Maryland, Minnesota, Maine and Washington state.
“I don't know how you can disagree
with equality,” Hudson, 25, says. “Whenever I see someone who is
being treated unjustly by society, by the laws, by people in the
locker rooms as a coach I feel an obligation to do something about
it.”
On marriage equality, Hudson adds that
“everybody deserves this right.” (The video is embedded on this

The
Four 2012 earlier released a
video featuring actor Josh Charles.
