Actor Zachary Quinto has confirmed
rumors he's dating Glee guest star Jonathan Groff.
In a cover story for gay glossy Out,
Quinto discussed his reasons for coming out gay last year.
“I thought about it as coming out
from behind the wall,” Quinto said. “Walls now are only as high
or as thick or as strong as we allow them to be.”
“One of the most defining
conversations that I had with myself was that absolutely no good can
come from me staying quiet about [my sexuality],” he added.
“Literally, no good can come from it. But if I take the step to
make the acknowledgment and be honest, so much good could potentially
come from it.”
The 35-year-old Quinto added that he
wants children someday and confirmed rumors that he's dating actor
Jonathan Groff, who is best known for his guest-starring role as
Jesse St. James on Glee and is currently co-starring on Boss.
“I'm incredibly happy, I'm incredibly
lucky,” he said of the relationship.
