Patrick Schwarzenegger has joined Lady
Gaga's Born This Way Foundation, which works to end bullying in
schools.
The 18-year-old son of former
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Schriver recently
recorded a public service announcement for the organization's
partnership with Office Depot.
Last month, Office Depot pledged to
donate twenty-five percent of the sales of limited edition products
for back-to-school to the Born This Way Foundation, with a guaranteed
donation of $1 million this year.
The products – which include pens,
gift cards and Post-It notes – include the Born This Way Foundation
logo along with one of six messages: “Be Brave,” “Be Amazing,”
“Be Yourself,” “Be Kind,” “Be Accepting,” and “Be
Involved.”
Of Lady Gaga, Schwarzenegger told
Entertainment Tonight: “I just think it's great what Lady
Gaga is doing. Using her power, her star level, to promote that and
to stop the cruel behavior that people are experiencing.” (The
