Rush Limbaugh has called Wednesday's Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day a “giant Tea Party rally” in opposition to President Barack Obama.

Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day called on conservatives to patronize the eateries to support CEO Dan Cathy, who created a firestorm of protest when he said that gay marriage is “inviting God's judgment on our nation.” Two days later, gay rights activists responded with a kiss-in event.

“It's happening all over. And it's political,” Limbaugh told his listeners on Wednesday. “Rahm Emanuel and Thomas Menino, mayors of Chicago and Boston, made this political. And now the people of this country, I'm going to tell you you're looking at a microcosm of what's going to happen on November 6th.”

“There is an explosion like waiting to happen in this country. People are fed up. And this is a sign. That's how it's going to happen on November 6 – Obama is going to get Chick-Fil-A'd himself.” (The video is embedded in the right panel of this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)
