Comedian Roseanne Barr believes people
who choose to eat at Chick-Fil-A deserve cancer.
The 59-year-old Barr, who is best known
for starring in the ABC situation comedy Roseanne, took to
Twitter on Wednesday to express herself as Chick-Fil-A customers
lined up at the eateries in a show of support for CEO Dan Cathy.
“anyone who eats S--- Fil-A deserves
to get the cancer that is sure to come from eating antibiotic filled
tortured chickens 4Christ,” she messaged to her nearly 130,000
followers.
She later added: “christian liars: I
never wished cancer on you at all – jesus will punish u 4 ur deceit
– I said processed foods cause cancer - #chickfilA.”
Cathy created a firestorm of protest
when he said that gay marriage is “inviting God's judgment on our
nation.” Wednesday was organized as a day of solidarity with the
fast-food chain's outspoken executive.
