Fred Karger, the openly gay GOP
presidential candidate, is set to appear on Bryan Fischer's radio
show to discuss “all gay agenda.”
Karger, who will bow out of the race on
June 27th, the day after the Utah primary, will appear on
the Christian conservative's AFA-sponsored radio show, Focal
Point, on Thursday.
According to BuzzFeed, Karger reached
out to Fischer.
In a voicemail to Karger's assistant
Kevin Miniter, Fischer said: “You realize where we're positioned
when it comes to pro-family issues and so we'll probably spend some
time asking Mr. Karger about how he's oriented towards the homosexual
agenda, gay marriage, 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell,' some of those issues,
homosexual adoption, we'll probably spend some time talking about
those issues as well as others.”
In an e-mail to BuzzFeed,
he added that he and his guest are prepared to discuss “All gay
agenda, all the time. He knows that's what we're going to talk
about, and is hot to trot.”
In an email to On Top Magazine,
Karger said he'll return to gay activism after ending his campaign.
Fischer is featured this month in a
profile in the New Yorker, which he has described as “a
piece of tripe.”
