Caiden Cowger, a 14-year-old West
Virginia conservative radio host, has returned to YouTube after he
told his audience that President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe
Biden are making kids gay.
On his The Caiden Cowger Show
the teen said: “Homosexuality is a belief, it is not mandatory in
that person. That person is not born that way, no matter what Lady
Gaga says.”
He said 30 teenagers in his county had
“decided” to be gay and “it's sickening.”
“I'm going to tell you this, guys:
President Obama, Vice President Biden is [sic] making kids gay.
Obama … If you're encouraging, you're making kids gay.”
Cowger's YouTube account was
terminated, ostensibly by YouTube for inappropriate speech, and audio
hosting website Spreaker.com removed the conservative host's previous
shows from its site.
“[W]e have pulled down audio content
from Caiden Cowgar [sic], whose recent gay-bashing clearly crosses
the line from free – to hate – speech,” Spreaker CEO Francesco
Baschieri said in a statement.
Cowger responded by creating a new
YouTube account, where he attacked his critics in a new video.
“I have every right to voice my
opinion. I have every right to express my views. And who are you to
try to stop me? You're trying to shut me down because of what I have
to say. You're not going to silence me. I have every right to voice
my opinion and I plan on doing this for a long time. So good luck,
you're going to have to put up with me,” Cowger said. (The video
