Beth Ditto has enthusiastically
endorsed switching teams for Lil Wayne.
Ditto, lead singer for the three-piece
indie rock band Gossip, appeared Thursday night on cabler Bravo's
Watch What Happens, where host Andy Cohen asked her to play
along with Plead the Fifth, a regular show segment where guests are
asked provocative questions and can “plead the fifth” on all but
one.
Earlier this month, Ditto, 31, revealed
that she and girlfriend Kristin Ogata plan
to marry in Hawaii next April.
“You once criticized Katy Perry,
saying she was offensive to gay culture. Say three nice things about
Katy Perry,” Cohen requested.
“Writes her own songs. She plays
guitar. Beautiful eyes,” Ditto answered.
When asked, “If you had to take a dip
in the man pond, what male celebrity would you pick?” Ditto eagerly
replied: “Fucking Lil Wayne!”
“I am not kidding. I am not joking.
My girlfriend feels threatened – like I'm ever going to meet Lil'
Wayne, but I'm like um,” she added with a large smile.
