Raven Symone has said she won't comment on rumors that she is gay.

The 26-year-old Symone, who first gained fame playing Olivia on the NBC comedy hit The Cosby Show, declined to address the rumors on Twitter.

“My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm dating to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life,” Symone tweeted to her nearly 352,000 followers.

“However that is my right as a HUMAN BEing whether straight or gay. To tell or not to tell. As long as I'm not harming anyone.”

The National Enquirer was the first publication to print the claim that Symone was living with AzMarie Livingston, an openly gay contestant on the CW's reality series America's Next Top Model.

“Raven has hidden being gay for a long time now,” an unnamed source told the tabloid. “But about a year ago, she was introduced by a friend to AzMarie, who is absolutely gorgeous. The two began seeing each other, and a few moths ago, Raven finally got the nerve to ask her to move into her lavish Manhattan condo. When her family found out, they blew their stack and it's created a gay scandal for Raven.”

Symone currently plays Deloris van Cartier in the Broadway musical Sister Act.
