Kristin Chenoweth, who currently stars
on ABC's Sunday night dramedy Good Christian Belles, says she
once “hooked up” with a gay guy.
During an appearance on cabler Bravo's
Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen invited Chenoweth to
play Plead the Fifth.
“Kristin Chenoweth pray for straight
now because the time has come for you to plead the fifth,” Cohen
announced.
On which co-star had the worst breath,
Chenoweth cleverly answered: “Madeline Kahn Chenoweth, my dog,”
and she pleaded the fifth on answering, “Who is the least
impressive Broadway actress that played Glenda in Wicked?”
When asked, “Have you ever hooked up
with a gay guy?” Chenoweth at first asked, “Define hooked up?”
before answering yes.
“But he didn't know he was gay,”
she said with a laugh. “It was with my high school boyfriend. I
should have know when he didn't want me to touch his hair.” (The
