Rob Reiner on Monday said a person would have to be “brain dead” to vote for Mitt Romney.

Reiner, a co-founder of the American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER), the group challenging the constitutionality of California's gay marriage ban, Proposition 8, was a guest on The Stephanie Miller Show, which is now simulcast on Current TV.

When Miller asked, “[H]ow are you enjoying the Insane Clown Posse that is the Republican primary?” Reiner made mention of the Romney campaign's now infamous Etch-a-Sketch gaffe.

“What makes a gaffe is when it's true. To me, what's astounding is you can have an entire primary season where things are said and then you can just wipe it away and start over again and say the exact opposite. I mean, if you're following this primary season, you'd have to be brain dead to vote for Romney.” (The video is embedded in the right panel of this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)
