Darren Criss' Blaine Anderson and Chris
Colfer's Kurt Hummel are preparing to celebrate their first
anniversary on the Fox musical-comedy Glee.
Kurt and Blaine began dating during the
show's second season. Before getting the guy, Kurt endured Blaine
serenading a GAP employee on Valentine's Day and constant bullying
from closeted student Dave Karofsky (played by Max Adler).
This year, their budding romance was
taken to the next level in the recent episode titled The First
Time. The couple's decision to get physical was prompted by the
arrival of Sebastian (played by newcomer Grant Gustin), a scheming
Dalton Academy Warbler who aggressively pursued Blaine.
Despite the rocky road to romance, Kurt
and Blaine, dubbed Klaine, have survived their first year together.
On Thursday, a tweet from Lea Michele,
who plays Broadway-bound diva Rachel Berry on the show, left little
doubt that producers were preparing to highlight the couple's
anniversary.
“It would only be fitting for Kurt to
be singing a love song to Blaine today:) @chriscolfer @DarrenCriss
congrats! #1yearofKaline,” Michele messaged.
Glee is currently filming its
last five episodes of the season.
