Televangelist Pat Robertson on
Wednesday said oral sex between a husband and a wife is not sinful,
media watchdog RightWingWatch.org
reported.
Kristi Watts, co-host of The 700
Club, exclaimed, “I'm too young for that question,” after
reading a viewer's question on the subject, and became rather uneasy
listening to Robertson's answer.
“Is oral sex between husband and wife
in marriage a sin?” Jerry asked.
“The Bible doesn't make that sinful.
It's a question of what's in your heart. You know, what's in your
heart,” Robertson, 81, said as he looked directly at Watts. “If
to you it's sin, it's sin.”
“Any evidence of love and compassion
and affection between two people who are married ...”
“Alright, let's switch to the next
question,” an anxious Watts interrupted.
“It's a question of what's in your
mind,” Robertson continued, ignoring Watts' unease with the
subject. “If you feel it's sin, it's sin.” (The video is
