Kelly Osbourne is set to host and Adam
Lambert to perform on cabler Logo's 2012 NewNowNext Awards.
The fifth annual show will be taped in
front of a live audience at the legendary Avalon in Hollywood on
Thursday, April 5. Logo will premiere the show on April 9 at 10PM.
Osbourne, the 27-year-old daughter of
Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, will be joined on the main stage by
American Idol alum Adam Lambert and Neon Hitch, who has been
nominated in the Brink-of-Fame: Music Artist category.
Lambert attended last year's show with
his boyfriend, Finnish reality star Sauli Koskinen. The pair sat
next to former American Idol judge Paula Abdul.
At the show, Lambert introduced Robyn's
musical performance.
He discussed the awards show during a
recent appearance on cabler VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.
“I was actually there last year and I
introduced Robyn. She was one of the performers last year. She was
rad,” Lambert said. “It was a really fun night. And I got to
sit with Paula Abdul. I had not seen her in a while. It was great.”
Lambert is expected to perform music
from his upcoming second studio album Trespassing.
