Rick Santorum's first stop in Florida was a visit with Reverend O'Neal Dozier, who runs the Worldwide Christian Center in Pompano Beach Florida and serves as the honorary chairman of Santorum's Florida campaign.

According to Mother Jones, Dozier's congregation is mostly black and mostly Republican.

He said in a recent video that he preaches on social issues.

“We also teach and preach on the war on terror,” he said. “We teach and preach on the dangers of Islam and Islamic fascism here.”

At a 2003 Reclaiming America convention, Dozier labeled being gay “the paramount of sins.”

“[I]t's a very bad kind of sin because it really hurts society in so many ways.”

Dozier declared that homosexuality is “an abomination,” which he defined as “something so nasty and disgusting it makes God want to vomit.”

He added that God brought HIV/AIDS to punish gay people.

Santorum, fresh from finishing third behind Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney in South Carolina, spoke to Worldwide Christian center parishioners on Sunday morning.
