Comic Wanda Sykes has suggested Rick
Santrorum might be gay.
Appearing Thursday on NBC's The
Tonight Show
with
Jay Leno, Sykes slammed all of the Republican presidential
candidates, but hit Santorum the hardest.
On allegations made by Newt Gingrich's
second wife, Marianne Gingrich, that Newt
asked her to “share” him with his mistress Callista, whom he
later married after divorcing Marianne, Sykes said it was possible
Newt had good reasons to wander.
“We don't know what happened,”
Sykes said. “Maybe she was just nasty to him. Maybe she beat him
up. Maybe she emasculated him. Maybe she called him 'Tiny Penis.'
… You tell a man he's got a tiny penis, that'll make 'em wander.”
The 47-year-old Sykes said she was glad
Texas
Governor Rick Perry had dropped out of the race: “He had to
drop out. … I'm pretty sure he was one more debate away from saying
the N word.”
When Leno asked, “Are you a fan of
Rick Santorum?” Sykes, who came out gay in 2008, replied: “Ug.”
“Here's the thing with Rick. Because
Rick Santorum he is so anti-gay, where it makes you wonder a little
bit. You know, you protest a little too much, my friend,” she said
as the audience cheered.
“If you really believe that
homosexuality is a sin and that we're going to hell, then why the
fuss? If you think I'm going to hell, then you've already won. So
shut the hell up and let God take care of it.”
