Bryan Fischer has claimed that God is
waiting for gay men to stop having sex before curing them of AIDS,
media watchdog RightWingWatch.org reported.
On a recent episode of his
AFA-sponsored radio show Focal Point, Fischer told listeners
that HIV does not cause AIDS, calling it a “scam.”
He revisited the subject on Wednesday's
program.
“You know we really don't know what
kind of recuperative powers God may have built into the human body
that may allow the body … the body may be able to restructure and
restore its immunological capacity if we stop subjecting it to all of
these harmful behaviors. In other words, if you stop shooting up, or
