Adam Lambert is set to grace the spring
2012 cover of British glossy FAULT Magazine.
The magazine confirmed that the
29-year-old Lambert was their cover man in a tweet: “@AdamLambert
confirmed & shot for the cover of FAULT Men in Spring.”
Stylist Avo Yermagyan was first with
the news, writing Tuesday on her Tumblr: “Styled the
ever-so-charming Adam Lambert today for the cover of FAULT
Magazine's forthcoming SPRING 2012 ISSUE.”
The magazine looks at how celebrity
affects social issues.
“FAULT never underestimates
the effects fashion and artists have to provoke social change and the
ability to shape our future,” the magazine says on its website.
“With this knowledge and understanding, we celebrate and present
diversity of brilliant minds, embracing all aspects of the art world
to create something truly phenomenal.”
The American Idol alum has taken
on gay rights since publicly declaring his sexuality on the cover of
Rolling Stone. Those efforts last year were recognized by gay
rights groups Equality
California (EQCA) and the national chapter of Parents,
Families & Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG).
