Two-time Olympian Johnny Weir's wedding
wish list includes Christina Aguilera and Albert Einstein.
Weir, 27, and 28-year-old Atlanta-area
lawyer Victor Voronov, referred to as “Vitya” by Weir, ended 2011
by tying the knot in a civil ceremony at the New York City
Courthouse.
Weir tweeted to his nearly 103,000
followers that the couple will hold a wedding in the summer.
In a story published at gay glossy
Out.com,
Weir described his dream wedding as taking place in “the Moscow
suburb of Rublevka in a park in the middle of winter.”
Guests, he said, would be given fur –
“so they don't freeze” – and Weir would be wearing a sable
coat, his fiance “a cashmere and broadtail coat by Russian designer
Valentin Yudashkin.”
The first dance would be Louis
Armstrong's What a Wonderful World.
“Obviously” Christina Aguilera
would perform.
Officiating the wedding would be
“Albert Einstein, Mary, Mother of God, and a couple of rabbis.”
And the honeymoon would take place
“Somewhere Vitya could scuba-dive, and I could get a tan.”
