Kisses between Chris Colfer and Darren
Criss on Glee and Leonardo DiCaprio and Armie Hammer on J.
Edgar are among the 16 best of 2011.
According to the DailyBeast.com's Sexy
Beast entertainment blog, the number one best kiss of 2011
was between vampire Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson) and
Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) in Twilight: Breaking Dawn. The
site called it the most anticipated vampire kiss of 2011.
Pulling a fourth place finish was a
same-sex kiss between Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) and Blaine Anderson
(Darren Criss) on the Fox musical-comedy Glee.
“Kurt endured a lot before he got the
guy – Blaine serenading another boy on Valentine's Day, Karofsky's
bullying, and the stress of regionals – but it all paid off when he
and Blaine officially became a couple,” the site wrote.
A surprising kiss between FBI Director
J. Edgar Hoover (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Clyde Tolson (Armie Hammer)
in the Clint Eastwood-directed J. Edgar garnered the 10th
spot on the list.
And an United
Colors of Benetton ad campaign which featured President Barack
Obama smooching on Chinese President Hu Jintao rounded off the list.
