Ellen DeGeneres, Neil Patrick Harris, Chaz Bono and Chely Wright were among the openly LGBT celebrities who tweeted Christmas cheer on Sunday.

“Merry Christmas everyone,” tweeted CNN anchor Don Lemon to his nearly 120,000 followers. “Hope you're spending it with someone you love. Be safe and be grateful for the little things.”

Actor Neil Patrick Harris included a photo of his beautiful Christmas tree along with the following note: “As a special holiday surprise, I thought I'd show you a picture of my thick noble wood.”

Ellen DeGeneres simply messaged to her fans: “Wishing everyone a happy holiday with the people they love.”

“Perfect Christmas,” country singer Chely Wright tweeted to her nearly 24,000 followers. “Family, food, fun and a deep gratitude for my life. #luckyme.”

Chaz Bono wrote, “Merry Christmas everyone!” followed by: “I hope you all have a wonderful day surrounded by the people you love, who also love you.”
