Newt Gingrich has received an endorsement of sorts from the pro-adultery website, Pennsylvania Avenue, a blog of The Morning Call, reported.

A billboard erected near Morrisville, Pennsylvania features Gingrich making a keep quiet gesture along with the caption: “Faithful Republican, Unfaithful Husband. Welcome to the Era.”

Gingrich's three marriages and admitted extramarital affairs have not kept the former House speaker from winning the endorsements of several prominent conservatives who have previously touted family values.

The website is a ten-year-old dating service marketed primarily at people looking for intimacy outside of their primary relationship.

“Now that Newt is the leading contender in the race for the GOP nomination, we felt compelled to make a point to illustrate how times have changed when a serial divorcee/adulterer is capturing the hearts of the American people,” said founder Noel Biderman in a statement.

“Gingrich proves that marital fidelity has no bearing on someone's ability to do a job. Rather than judge him, Americans have finally embraced the reality that affairs are commonplace, and perhaps paradoxically, might be an indication of great leadership to come. He is not the first nor last politician who will step outside of their marriage,” he added.

Gingrich recently vowed to defend the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), which forbids federal agencies from recognizing the legal marriages of gay and lesbian couples, and remain faithful to his third wife Callista.
