Officials at the Mystic Valley Regional
Charter School in Malden, Massachusetts have placed teacher Kevin
Hogan on paid leave as they investigate his gay porn past.
Hogan was the subject of a Fox
25 News Undercover investigation. With cameras rolling, a
reporter approached the English teacher and crew coach with evidence
that he starred in recent gay porn films under the screen name of
Hytch Cawke. Hogan appeared in three films released last year,
including Fetish World and Just Gone Gay 8, according
to the report.
“Does the school know that you're a
porn star?” undercover reporter Mike Beaudet asked Hogan as he
approached his car.
“I don't know what you're talking
about,” Hogan replied.
“Do your students know that you've
been in these movies? This is you,” Beaudet insisted as he pointed
to a flier. “You know what I'm walking about.”
“Do you really think it's appropriate
to be working with kids?”
“I don't know what you're talking
about. Happy Thanksgiving,” Hogan replied.
School officials suggested in a
statement that Hogan's gay porn past was a threat to students: “We
value the health and safety of our students.”
A majority of the comments on the story
ran mostly against the television station's reporting.
“Shame on Fox for this attempt at
ruining a man's career,” wrote one commenter.
“Why ruin a perfectly good teacher's
life when they haven't done anything illegal and when we desperately
need good teachers?” wrote another.
