Naya Rivera Coming Out Gay On 'Glee'

Naya Rivera's character on Glee, Santana, is getting ready to come out gay to her family.

According to Michael Ausiello's TVLine.com, Santana will announce to her family that she's a lesbian during the seventh episode of the 3^rd season of the Fox musical-comedy.

She'll take that step in the episode titled I Kissed a Girl, likely to air sometime in late November.

When asked by a reader, “Is there any truth to the rumor that the title of Glee's episode 7, I Kissed a Girl, has something to do with Rachel and Quinn? We're dying to know,” Ausiello answered, “If you are asking me whether Rachel and Quinn go to first base, the answer is no. The episode focuses on Santana coming out to her family, so I'm guessing the title – and accompanying Katy Perry cover – refer to that.”

Santana will begin to open up about her sexuality two episodes after Kurt (played by Chris Colfer) and Blaine's (Darren Criss) relationship is tested as Sebastian (Grant Gustin), a gay Dalton Academy Warbler, sets his sights on Blaine.
