Darren Criss, Chris Colfer 'Glee'
romance is 'solid,' executive producer Brad Falchuk has said.
Falchuk made his remarks during a
Comic-Con panel in San Diego that included co-stars Darren Criss,
Harry Shum Jr., Dot Marie Jones and Jenna Ushkowitz, Glee 3D!
Director Kevin Tancharoen, choreographer Zach Woodlee, and executive
producers Ian Brennan and Dante di Loreto.
When Criss was asked for a relationship
status on Glee boyfriends Kurt Hummel (played by Chris Colfer)
and Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss), Criss answered: “They're kind
of in the honeymoon phase, you know, they've kind of reached that
point where they've reached the next step in their relationship. I
hope they continue to learn and grow from each other just like any
relationship should.”
“I'm a big fan of Klaine
[Kurt+Blaine], so I hope it will last for a while,” Criss said.
Falchuk added: “Yeah, they're not
breaking up. They're solid. They got problems. You have two stars
dating each other, it's going to be, you know, some competition
there. But they're solid.”
Glee creator Ryan Murphy earlier
this month said several characters would be graduating from William
McKinley High in the upcoming season and would not return, including
those played by Colfer, Lea Michele and Cory Monteith. Falchuk,
however, said, “They are not done with the show.”
