Chris Colfer and Darren Criss will
share another holiday duet on the Fox musical-comedy Glee.
Colfer's Kurt Hummel has been run out
of McKinley High by closeted football player Dave Karofsky, played by
Max Adler. After officials decided against disciplining the bully,
Kurt fled the school to the Dalton Academy, where he has joined
Blaine, an out-and-proud student played by Darren Criss.
Glee ringmaster Ryan Murphy has
promised romance this season for Colfer's gay character, and the
show's Christmas episode pairing of the choir boys in the holiday
classic Baby
It's Cold Outside
suggested more than friendship.
According
to TV
Guide's
William Keck, the pair will offer a second holiday duet on the
show's February 8 Valentine's Day episode.
Kurt and Blaine will reportedly be
crooning Robin Thicke's When I Get You Alone “outside a Gap
store as Blaine prepares to profess his love.”
“There might be a development,”
Colfer told Keck.
But
Colfer also recently suggested that Kurt's romance might be found
somewhere else.
“Maybe they're not going to kiss?
Maybe a nice hug will do for them. Maybe they're a higher-level
relationship; everything is spiritual. Who knows?” Colfer said.
