Christina Hendricks, the star of AMC's
hit drama Mad Men, says gay men and women hit on her as often
as straight men, People.com reported.
In a cover story for the November issue
of Harper's Bazaar, Hendricks says she's flattered that gay
men and women think she's hot.
“Women hit on me,” she said. “My
husband thinks it's so odd that so many women hit on me.”
And gay men, too: “They say to me,
'Well, I'm not straight, but if I was ...'” Hendricks said. “I
think it's so flattering.”
The 35-year-old ravishing red head and
actor Geoffrey Arend, 32, married last year. Arend stars opposite
Dana Delany (The L Word, Desperate Housewives) in the upcoming
ABC medical drama Body of Proof.
Esquire Magazine readers voted
Hendricks “the sexiest woman in the world” in April. And she was
nominated this year for her portrayal of secretary Joan Holloway on Mad Men.
Hendricks' previous credits include a
brief stint as Saffron on Fox's short-lived sci-fi drama Firefly.
