British actor Tom Hardy says he had gay
flings in his younger years.
Hardy currently stars alongside
Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Ellen Page in Inception,
but the thirty-two-year-old actor got his big break starring in
Star Trek Nemesis and is well known for his role as Handsome Bob
in the 2008 Hollywood film RocknRolla.
Speaking with UK
tabloid NOW Magazine, Hardy said he experimented with men
in his younger years.
“As a boy? Of course I have,” he
said.
“I'm an actor, for fuck's sake. I'm
an artist. I've played with everything and everyone. But I'm not
into men sexually.”
Hardy went on to explain that he loves
the male “form and physicality” but not the “gay sex bit.”
“[Gay sex] does nothing for me, in
the same way a wet vagina would turn someone else into a
lemon-sucking freak,” he said.
Hardy said he could imagine having sex
with another man, adding “we've all got an arsehole.”
The heart-throb became engaged to
British actress Charlotte Riley in July. He has a son, 2-year-old
Louis, with ex-girlfriend Rachael Speed.
Hardy has reportedly signed on for the
fourth installment of the Mad Max series.
