Singer
Beyoncé on Wednesday released a video clip in celebration of the
Supreme Court ruling striking down state bans on gay marriage.
The
high court ruled Friday that gay couples have a constitutional right
to marry in all 50 states.
In the 15-second
clip first uploaded to the
entertainer's Instagram account, Beyoncé dances to her latest
single 7/11 in a variety of rainbow-themed outfits, seven to
be exact.
She captioned the video “Never too
late. #LoveWins,” adding a heart-shaped emoji.
It was uncertain whether Beyoncé's
late comment was a reference to the ruling or the timing of her
video.
In 2013, Beyoncé tweeted support for
marriage equality as the issue went before the Supreme Court in a
separate case. “If you like it, you should be able to put a ring
on it #wewillunite4marriageequality! -B!,” she messaged.
