Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign
on Wednesday released a two-and-a-half minute video in support of
marriage equality.
The video comes on the eve of a Supreme
Court ruling which could lead to nationwide marriage equality.
The video, titled Equal,
features the weddings of several diverse gay and lesbian couples.
“Some have suggested that gay rights
and human rights are separate and distinct,” Clinton, a Democrat,
is heard saying. “But in fact they are one and the same. Being
LGBT does not make you less human. And that is why gay rights are
human rights and human rights are gay rights.”
Equal ends with the caption,
“Stand with LGBT families.” (The video is embedded on this page.

Clinton, a longtime supporter of civil
unions, first endorsed equal marriage for gay couples in 2013.
