Lush Cosmetics is raising awareness and
funds for LGBT rights with its #GayIsOk campaign.
The cosmetics giant has introduced the
aptly named Love Soap – a gold bar stamped with #GayIsOk.
All proceeds of the limited edition
Love Soap will go to support grassroots LGBT equality groups all over
the world. Lush said in a press release that it hopes to raise
$385,000 and “help to set in motion a movement on social media to
tell the world why #GayIsOk.”
LGBT rights advocate All
Out has partnered with Lush on its #GayIsOk campaign.
Look for the Love Soap in Lush stores
nationwide starting June 25th. A 120g bar will set you
back $5.95.
Founded in 1995 in Poole, UK, Lush has
grown to over 800 stores in 51 countries.
