The video for Jennifer Hudson's I Still Love You features a gay wedding.

Released on Thursday, the 4-minute video begins with a man calling his father, who refuses to answer the phone.

“Hey dad, are you there? I know it's been a long time. I wanted to call and see if you got my invite. It would mean everything if you could be there. And despite everything, I still love you,” the son tells his father in a voice message.

As the men prepare for their big day, the father is seen rummaging through old photographs.

The dad arrives just as the men have exchanged their vows. As the men make their debut as a married couple, the father hugs his son and his new husband. (The video is embedded on this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)

“I just think the concept was just powerful to go with such a positive song,” Hudson told MTV. “It's about love and everyone should have love and have the right to love who they want to love. So I thought it would be powerful to take a concept like trying to find your equality in love no matter who you love.”
