Radio personality and former rapper
Angela “Angie” Martinez has lauded Olympian Bruce Jenner's recent
coming out transgender.
In a two-hour ABC News special
broadcast late last month, Jenner told Diane Sawyer that he
identifies as female.

“I think good for him,” Martinez
told Larry King, host of Larry King Now. “I think whatever
makes you happy.”
“You know, life is short. People are
struggling with all sorts of things. If that's like a struggle for
you, then get it out, get happy. Cause what are you going to wait
for? The next life to do that?”
“I think it's brave,” added
Martinez, who is known as “The Voice of New York.”
