ABC News on Friday released a teaser
for its upcoming interview with Bruce Jenner.
The network will broadcast a two-hour
long sit down interview with Diane Sawyer on Friday, April 24.
Only the back of Jenner's head is
visible in the 15-second
promo as a narrator states: “Bruce Jenner, the interview. The
journey. The decisions. The future.”
ABC
News described the exclusive interview as “far-ranging” in
announcing Bruce Jenner – The Interview.
The 65-year-old Jenner won the gold
medal in the decathlon at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal and
subsequently found success in television. The long-running reality
series Keeping Up with the Kardashians focuses
on the lives of the Kardashian-Jenner family.
Speculation
surrounding the interview centers mainly on Jenner's gender identity,
with many
outlets reporting that Jenner will publicly discuss for the first
time his plans to transition.
