Customer review website Angie's List
has put on hold its plans to expand in Indiana.
The company said it's rethinking the
expansion as a result of passage of a bill that critics say will
allow businesses to discriminate against members of the LGBT
community based on religious beliefs.
Governor Mike Pence signed the bill on
Thursday.

“Angie's List is open to all and
discriminates against none and we are hugely disappointed in what
this bill represents,” CEO Bill Oesterele said in a statement.
The company said that plans to expand
its presence in Indianapolis by converting a century-old Ford
assembly plant into offices were on hold pending an evaluation of how
the bill will affect its employees.
