Austrian singer Conchita Wurst says she
has been living her dream since winning Eurovision.
Eurovision 2014 winner Wurst, known as
the bearded drag queen, told the AP, “I am living my dream.
Everything fell into the right place for me.”
Her biography, Ich, Conchita (I
Conchita), recently appeared in German, with other languages to
follow.
On the effort to keep her out of last
year's contest, which was held in Russia, Wurst said she “made the
decision years ago not to focus on negativity.”
Since her win, “many people have told
me that they have changed their mind about me – they got inspired,
which is just overwhelming for me.”
Wurst will co-host next year's
Eurovision song contest to take place in Vienna, Austria in May. She
will interview contestants in the Green Room and perform during the
show.
