Ellen DeGeneres has responded to a
conservative's claim that she “celebrates her lesbianism” and
books talent such as Taylor Swift to attract young girls.
Larry Tomczak made the allegations in a
Christian Post column titled Are You Aware of the Avalanche
of Gay Programming Assaulting Your Home?
“Ellen
DeGeneres celebrates
her lesbianism and 'marriage' in between appearances of guests like
Taylor Swift to attract young girls,” Tomczak wrote.
“Larry
I don't even know what it means to celebrate my lesbianism,”
DeGeneres
said during her monologue.
“Well,
I guess I do,” she confessed before firing off a party favor and
screaming, “I'm gay!”
“The
only way I'm trying to influence people is to be more kind and
compassionate with one another,” she later added. “This is the
message I'm sending out. I don't have an agenda. I'm not
brainwashing anybody.”
Tomczak also attacked openly gay
Anderson Cooper for recently stating during a late night segment that
he would rather sleep with a man than a woman and shows which
regularly feature gay characters, such as Glee, Modern
Family and Scandal. Tomczak advised Christian parents to
replace current programming with classic television shows such as
Little House on the Prairie, Gunsmoke and Leave it
to Beaver.

Cooper asked whether he'd rather sleep with Kelly Ripa or Mark
