Out singer Adam Lambert has weighed in
on recent incidents involving police brutality.
The 32-year-old Lambert messaged to his
more than 2.3 million followers on Twitter that the system is broken.
“I'm just gonna state the obvious –
the recent rise in US Police Brutality and lack of judgement is
disgusting. C'mon guys. WTF?” he tweeted.
“I know there are a lot of good cops
out there but the system's f**ked. Justice has been warped. What do
we do to fix it?”
Several recent high-profile cases in
which white police officers were not charged in the deaths of black
men have sparked nationwide protests on the streets and on social
media.
Lambert also appeared at a press
conference in Berlin with Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor, where
he said he's looking forward to the group's upcoming European tour.
“[W]hat is so great is that we all
get along really well and there's a lot of mutual respect – and we
have fun,” Lambert said.
