Hillary Clinton their “Straight Ally of the Year.”
For a second year in a row, users named
out actor Neil Patrick Harris “Gay Icon of the Year.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin was
named “Enemy of the LGBT Community.”
Sam Smith was recognized in two
categories. His hit single Stay with Me was voted “Best Song
of 2014” and his coming out story was named the best of the year.
The “Next Celebrity to Come Out”
prize was given to Ryan Seacrest.
Clinton announcing her bid for
president was named “Biggest Prediction for 2015.”
Clinton announced her support for
marriage equality last year, after she left her post as secretary of
state.
