Filipino actor, singer-songwriter Aiza
Seguerra married actress-model Liza Dino in San Francisco on Monday.
The celebrity couple got engaged in
February.
“My life has begun,” Seguerra wrote
in captioning an Instagram
photo from the ceremony.
In a
Facebook post before the wedding, Dino wrote: “I can't wait to
spend my whole life with you my love.”
The 31-year-old Seguerra came out
lesbian in 2007 and transgender in August of this year.
According to ABS-CBN
News, roughly 50 people attended the couple's “forest”
wedding, including actress Sylvia Sanchez, Seguerra's co-star in the
just-ended Philippine daytime television drama Be
Careful With My Heart,
which is broadcast worldwide on The Filipino Channel.
Seguerra and Dino will also hold a
celebration next month in the Philippines, where such unions are not
legal.
