Brenton Thwaites, the Australian actor
who starred as Prince Philip in the film Maleficent, has
suggested he's bisexual.
In an interview with The
Fix to promote the upcoming
film Son of a Gun, the 25-year-old Thwaites was asked
to name three qualities he looks for in a potential partner.
“Male or female?” Thwaites asked.
“Both,” the interviewer replied.
“Well, they're very different,”
Thwaites explained, adding that a potential partner must have peanut
butter in their cupboard.
Thwaites is best known for playing Luke
Gallagher on the teen drama SLiDE and Stu Henderson on the
soap opera Home and Away. Recent films include The Giver,
in which he played a teenager given the task of remembering his
community's memories opposite Jeff Bridges and Meryl Streep.
