Tony Perkins, president of the
Christian conservative Family Research Council (FRC), agreed with a
caller's claim that gay rights are part of an “anti-life agenda.”
Homosexuality is promoted “because it
doesn't lead to reproduction and that's why it's promoted,” the
Washington Watch listener told Perkins on Wednesday. “There's
this anti-life agenda. There's a total anti-human, anti-life, human
beings are a virus type of mentality.”
Perkins
agreed, saying the caller was “very insightful” and
“absolutely right.”
“They like to deny that, but in my
book, Personal Faith, Public Policy, as we were researching
over the agenda of the climate change alarmists and those that are
pushing for population control, and they're all kinda in the same
wagon, that is one of the reasons that they promote homosexuality, is
that there's no procreation there.”
“They go crazy. They deny it. But
the evidence is there. It's footnoted in my book,” he added.
