Emmy-winning actress Lena Dunham has
repeated her vow not to marry boyfriend Jack Antonoff until her gay
sister Mary can marry in “all places.”
Dunham appeared on Howard
Stern's radio show to promote her autobiography Not
That Kind of Girl: A Young Woman Tells You What She's “Learned.”
“We're not against marriage,” the
28-year-old star of Girls said, “but I wanna wait until it's
something – my sister's gay and it just doesn't feel good to me to
do something she can't do. She can do it in some places but not all
places.”
Dunham and Antonoff, the lead guitarist
of the band fun, reportedly started dating two years ago.
Last year, she told the Daily Mail:
“I don't want to get married until all gay people can get married.
Other celebrities have made similar
pledges, including Charlize Theron and power couple Angelina Jolie
and Brad Pitt, who recently exchanged vows in France.
