UK singer Ariana Grande is 99.9 percent
convinced an ex-boyfriend had an affair with another man.
Grande told Metro.co.uk that her new
single Break Your Heart Right Back was inspired by the
incident.
“There is a song called Break Your
Heart Right Back which is about a boy that cheats on a girl with
another boy,” she said.
“It's one of my favorites on the
album and it's really funny because I believe it has happened to me.
I'm not 100 percent positive but I'm 99.9 percent positive.”
The 21-year-old Grande added: “I
would rather he cheats on me with a guy than with a girl any day! If
I found out my boyfriend was gay, I would be like, 'OK!' I'd be so
relieved.”
The song, which features rapper
Childish Gambino, the alter ego of actor-writer Daniel Glover
(Community), appears on the upcoming album My
Everything, which arrives August 25.
