Todd Chrisley, the Atlanta real estate
millionaire and star of USA Network's reality series Chrisley
Knows Best, has denied rumors he's gay.
Chrisley first responded to the rumors
in March, before the show's premiere.
“There's no coming out,” the
married father of five told People.
“What you see is what you get. I am what I am. Other people's
opinions of me are just not my business.”
At Monday's Television Critics
Association's (TCA) fall previews, he was asked about why he
responded to the rumors.
“I never feel like I have to address
it,” he
said. “But the reporter asked the question. I don't feel
there's a need for me not to address it. You asked the question,
it's rude of me not to answer it.”
“I don't believe that being gay is
something that you should be ashamed of. I don't believe it's
something you should hide. And if I wanted to date someone, I'd call
you and I'd ask you to go to dinner with me. But I'm very content
with my life and where I am. Today, I am not gay.”
On April 14, USA announced Chrisley
Knows Best would return for a second season.
