Christian conservative Linda Harvey has
described the upcoming Gay Games in Cleveland as a “big gathering
of homosexuals” to proclaim in public their “sinful behavior.”
Harvey, the founder of the Columbus,
Ohio-based Mission America and a frequent contributor to the
conservative website WND.com, also hailed Muslim taxi drivers who are
refusing to drive cabs with ads for this summer's sports and cultural
festival.

Ceremony.)
Citing religious reasons, roughly 25
Muslim drivers dispatched to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
announced their decision last week.
“I don't know if you've heard, but
there's going to be a big gathering of homosexuals in the city of
Cleveland in August for what is called the Gay Games,” Harvey
told listeners. “Yes I know it seems that these folks can't
stop proclaiming in public the sinful behavior they've told us for
years they wanted to keep private.”
Harvey called the drivers “courageous”
for standing up to LGBT community, then added that Muslims, unlike
Christians, “really are sometimes kind of scary or they have scary
friends.”
“Could it be that the two groups have
a common denominator that transcends the homosexuality issue, and
that is they both essentially despise Christians?” she rhetorically
asked.
Of course, a large percentage of gay
people are also religious, which would seem to contradict Harvey's
claims.
